But here’s the truth: Not all DJs are created equal

Most people THINK thatall DJing is the same.

Sure - there are some similarities. The most obvious being that all DJs select and blend different "tracks" together. This blending, known as mixing, creates a continuous flow of music, known as a “mix”, or “dj set”.

If the DJ is effective at mixing, the set should sound so awesome, smooth, that people can’t help but dance.

Mixing is the essential skill that separates a professional from an amateur. It’s a skill that takes time, and deep practice to develop.
